This peachy nude lipstick by MAC called Peachstock is one of the most popular in their permanent range. The shade is a warm, medium peach/beige nude color with a satin finish (for reference it is showing up a bit pinker on my camera than what it actually is).
Some people experience the 'washed out' effect like a concealer would do if you rubbed some on the lips, but that's going to vary from differences in skin tone. Nudes can be tricky especially without knowing what will truly flatter your coloring, so it can be helpful to do a Google search to see how it looks on other people and you can judge from there. I'm in the fair to light category and I found this shade to look decent against my coloring, and I feel like it has enough contrast with the beige tones to flatter darker skin tones as well.
The texture is on the thick side and with one swipe the coverage is completely opaque. It has a very creamy formula as well which tends to slide around a bit if you apply with a heavier hand. Like with many light colored lipsticks, it does highlight some dry patches on my lips, settles into fine lines, and also wears at the inner corners and center of my lip rather quickly.
Due to the soft and creamy formula of this lipstick, the lasting power was about five hours with fading and settling. It's simply not one of those lipsticks that wears well, however with some blotting and reapplication it can be worn all day.
Some of the closest dupes that I found for Peachstock are Revlon's Nude Attitude (matte version) and Wet n' Wild's 900B Pink Suga.
Although this isn't the most special lipstick in my small MAC collection, I reach for this shade on days where I feel like wearing a more dramatic nude or I will dab it on lightly with a finger to compliment a smokey eye. It does tend to fade without a liner underneath and it's definitely not the most kissable color, but it's pretty and I am happy I own it. Would I buy it again if I lose it or run out? Mostly likely not, especially due to the close drugstore dupes I have found since.
