Wet 'n' Wild Color Icon: Silent Treatment
The affordable drugstore brand Wet N Wild creates colorful palettes that are typically powdery and wearable This eyeshadow trio called "Silent Treatment" comes with a light pink for the brow bone, a black with gold sparkles for the crease, and a purplish taupe for the eyelid. All three shades are shimmery and don't show up pigmented unless they are applied in layers. The texture is very soft and thin, and the color is noticeably sheered out when blended. The lightness of the shadow is great when applied on top of a more pigmented shade to enhance it.
I have tried different palettes from this brand that were definitely more bold, however the colors are so pretty I like to use them on days where I want my makeup to look more fresh and simple. These eye shadows are good for beginners or younger girls because the shades coordinate with each other and look more natural than other heavier formulated ones.
This brand can be found here. I usually spot them at most drugstores and at Wal-mart. I picked up this particular palette for $2.99 at Walgreens.
